Court went to Alaska on Monday morning for a week to work/fish. He took his friend Richard and they are putting the kitchen in the lodge and then playing the rest of the time. So it's just Hayden and me. Now, I'm enjoying most of it. The house is a lot quieter without the t.v. blaring mixed with Hayden's noises. Also, the house is staying clean which is probably the best part. It's much easier cleaning up after my two year old than cleaning up after my husband. I cannot believe that one person can be so messy. I love him to pieces but the boy is a tornado. Now, I admit, I am not the cleanest person in the world, but I pick up after myself, rinse my dishes, throw my garbage away..... you get the picture. The evening is when being alone is hard. It's only been two days, but I tell you, it's not easy. And it's not that Court even does anything when he's here, it's just having someone else to do something if I ask. Hayden gets so whiny at night and throws fits and fights me on everything. That's where Court comes in and is awesome. He can calm Hayden like no other. At night that is.......I'm good at it in the daytime. He likes to push my buttons at night and knows which ones work! Daddy also missed the first poop in the potty while being gone. Hayden called him and told him all about it. We are having fun but miss Daddy so much. Please come home soon!! We love you!! Bring us lots of yummy fish to eat!!

Oh that's sweet. I bet Court is so sad he missed the first poopy!
You're amazing doing it on your own. I'm so glad I have a husband to help me with the kiddos too! I'll call you to confirm my order as soon as I remember!
I hate the nights too, but I have been doing it for one and a half years... I don't know what I am going to do when Skipper gets a normal job...
Good luck with the job hunting!! See you all soon!
