The day has come and my heart is broken. My baby is growing so fast. We have been having sleep troubles lately so we decided to do something different. Now, those of you who don't know my little angel don't know what a good sleeper he has been. He LOVED to go to sleep in his crib and would sleep through the night since about 5 months old. That all changed about a month ago. He started fighting his naps and bedtime and would sit in his crib and scream. He would wake up multiple times in the night and scream. We got a night light thinking that would help. We would leave his door open. It didn't work. He just didn't want to go to sleep. So, we took the railing off his crib and.........
He calls it his "boo boy bed" I'm not really sure why. He can say "big boy bed" but for some reason, he calls it boo boy. Whatever, I don't care, just as long as he sleeps.
Bed time was a success!! He went without a fight and stayed in bed all night.
The second night he did the same. We'll see from here, but I have gotten much more sleep the past two nights and feel great! Yeah Boo Boy Beds!!!

I'm gonna die if I have to wait 5 months before getting a full nights sleep.
I wish that Madeline had been in a crib that long. She started climbing out at 11 months so we got her a big girl bed then, and now she climbs into bed with us every night. Skipper keeps telling me we have to train her to sleep in her own bed. I tell him he can gladly do it :) becuase I am too tired!
Ok, SOOOOOO funny!
I showed this to Nats the other day and she thought it was cute, but she never talked about it or anything. Last night nathan was saying the prayer and blessed Hayden (and Bennett and Madeline and everyone else we bless every night) and when he was finished Nats said, "You don't have to bless Hayden anymore....he's really a big boy now."
Yeah- i'm so glad it worked! Now that we're expecting #2 (a boy!) and don't want to buy another crib, we are awaiting the day we will introduce the big girl bed! :) I hope it goes as well as it did for you guys!
He's such a cutie! And I like the fish story! :)
