An Arizona Thanksgiving

Kelly and Erica put on a smashingly good Thanksgiving for us all this year. We started the day by going to the "Waffle House" Uncle Robert(Kelly's dad) loves the Waffle House and since they don't have those in California, we always go when they come here. So, after breakfast we came back home to clean the house and PUT UP CHRISTMAS!!! I haven't been able to put up a tree in the four Christmas' of married bliss we have had. Mostly because Court is a big fat Scrooge and didn't want me to. Having a young child made it hard as well. So this year, I told him we were getting in the Christmas spirit and putting up the tree. It was so fun and Hayden loves it. He says "Wow Mommy, what a pretty Christmas Tree!" It's not done cause I need a pretty ribbon and something on the top. I am going out later to get them. I will take a picture of my masterpiece then. Okay, so after that we headed to Johnson Ranch or Texas which ever comes first. The dinner was fabulous, though I didn't get pictures cause I didn't think about it. They have so many fun things to do at their house. Grandma and Grandpa brought their Lego's for Hayden to play with. Court played the Wii most of the time while the rest of us played games, watched movies and kept going back for seconds. Wendy a.k.a Mom made the most yummy gluten free chocolate cake for my to enjoy. Now, for those of you that have tasted Gluten Free deserts will agree that they are mostly disgusting. I was SHOCKED. This cake was SO good and I'm not lying. Even other people said it was good. It was fabulous!! Thanks so much for thinking of me and giving me the chance to enjoy dessert again!!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving like we did. Now we have Christmas to look forward to. Yay!!!!!

First of all, love the new topper.
Secondly, LOL at Johnson's Ranch or Texas, whatever comes first. (I think it's Texas, right?)
Lastly, I am glad you got to put up Christmas. I need to do that.

Sunny, I am so glad that you found me. That's too funny that we were both in Queen Creek. We're actually thinking about moving down there. Your family is darling! Keep in touch.
