What We've Been Up To

Our summer can be summed up with one word.....SWIMMING!!
I put Hayden in swim lessons this year and he is LOVING it. His favorite teacher was Miss Sammie. She is the cutest most energetic person I have ever met. And she loves Hayden which is easy to do!! He gets so excited when he sees her at the pool. This session his teacher is Miss Nicole. She super sweet and he is warming up to her. I don't have pictures of them yet.
Earlier this summer he would freak out if water got in his face. He wouldn't jump in from the side. Honestly didn't really care about the water. Miss Sammie changed all that. We went swimming last night in Sharon's pool without his floaties and he was dunking and kicking and splashing. It was so fun. I am so proud of his progress.
We have also gone swimming a lot with our friends at the public pools. They are so much fun with the slides and waterfalls. Back yard pools are nice, but these are a fun change.
Here is Hayden and Mason daring the waterfall. This was earlier in the summer and Hayden wasn't to thrilled about water in his face. We are taking Shi and Nat here when they come next week, so we'll see how he likes it now.
Hayden was entertaining Noah for a minute. I think he was trying to tickle his feet.
What fun would a Slip N Slide be without a little butt crack? He could not keep his pants pulled up this day. It was so funny. Shelly kept trying to get a good picture cause it was so cute!!
One more just for fun. Thanks Shelly for running around the yard to get a picture. I love them!!
That's all for now cause my computer is slowing down. It's still not itself and we can't figure out why. I've got to get my house cleaned up cause my Mom's plane is coming in a few hours. Yikes!! Court was so sweet and cleaned up on Thursday for me, but then made a big fat mess trying to get packed for his trip. That's okay, he just better bring back TONS of yummy fish to fill my freezer!!

Ha! I love it! Especially the "butt crack shots"! :) That was a lot of fun. Watching our boys swim is the BEST!
